Elected to Serve
Ryan first ran for City Council in 2011, motivated by incompatible development proposals in his neighborhood, an obvious deficiency in citywide land use planning, and the proposal to sell 5 million gallons per day of Skagit River water to a bottling plant.
Ryan is now the City's longest-serving elected official. He recently ran unopposed for re-election.
